Little known beef cured meat. Very good for you, high in iron and low in fat (2%).
Less well known than Parma Ham but quite similar. It is a cured meat that you eat thinly sliced with antipasti or you may find posh recipies where it is used to wrap around other ingredients.
Authentic cured ham with a pinkish-red colour, an intense fragrance and almost sweet, very delicate flavour that but lingers pleasantly. Better quality than Parma Ham.

A smoky tasting Italian prosciutto from a small farmer in Valdora (North East Italy). The leg of pork is treated with a secret blend of spices and herbs, slightly smoked and then air dried.
Despite it's name, this is a delicious pork meat that you boil in the bag for 30mins.
