Limoncello at Cambridge Fairs
Cambridge and Mill Road in particular is well known for its food scene. We so enjoy watching our customers pop in for pizza and nibbles during Italian evening or serving you guys coffees and pastries on a weekend morning. While we have always offered samples and tastings, festivals are fast becoming a standard way for other business owners to get their wares tried out. This year we’re taking part in three such events coming up over 2016. When are they you say? Well isn't that a coincidence, I was just about to tell you!
Eat Cambridge 7th -22nd May
A highlight of the foodie calendar, the aforementioned Eat Cambridge Food and Drink festival will be enjoying its third successful year this May. We love that Cambridge caters so well to the foodies here and Heidi White, Organiser of Eat Cambridge agrees saying ‘We have such a fantastic indie food and drink scene here in Cambridge’. She continues ‘I'm thrilled to be releasing another amazing line-up of festival events and it’s great to see so many local independents getting involved.’ With fringe events, workshops and more wonderful things to try then you could handle, you’ll kick yourself if you miss out on this two week bonanza! Heidi confirms ‘I'm always pleased to see the city's steadfast favourites, like Limoncello, getting on board’. We’re looking forward to it as well!
Mill Road Summer Fair2nd July 5pm
Prana Indian Restaurant is sponsoring this event which we, and many of our neighbours will be taking part in. 'Last year's event was a huge success’ Franny Ritchie the Mill Road Coordinator says, advising ‘we are so excited to build on it to bring Mill Road an even bigger and better Midsummer event in 2016’. Not strictly speaking a food event Franny confirms ‘there will be a new family-friendly creative area at Ditchburn Place, and we have booked some great local musicians as well.' We’re excited there is yet another opportunity for you to experience our products. Fingers crossed for good weather!
Mill Road Winter Fair – 3rd December 2016 10.30 – 4.30pm
Look, if anywhere was going to get a double mention it’s going to be Mill Road right? If you like the Summer fair you’ll love the winter one, it's well established as one of the bests event in the town centre for culture, food and Christmas gifts (too soon to mention the C word?) Last year’s fair had an amazing buzz to it and we thoroughly enjoyed warming you lot up with our amaretto infused mulled wine!
